The Recreation Services is comprised of the following divisions serving Morro Bay:
AdministrationThe Administration Division supports all divisions with numerous reports, billing, budgeting and clerical duties. Along with support duties, the Administration Division provides and coordinates classes, affiliated clubs, and youth sports camps. Administration also oversees the Department’s online registration program, manages office functions, and processes all Department permits, including facility and park reservations.
The Recreational Sports Division provides adult and youth sports leagues along with tournaments, the Brian Waterbury Memorial Rock to Pier Run, Pool Programs at the MBHS Aquatics Center and the Junior Lifeguard program. The Recreational Sports Division also works with youth and adult sports advisory boards to provide All-Star opportunities for some youth sports leagues. Our youth sports programs would not be possible without the support of our volunteers and sponsors. If you are interested in volunteering to coach, be a committee member, or sponsoring a team, please let us know. You can make the difference in the life of a child.
