Boatyard and Haulout Facility Survey
The City of Morro Bay is working with the Morro Bay Commercial Fishermen's Organization to gain a better understanding of the local demand for a boatyard and haulout facility in Morro Bay. If you are a vessel owner, we need your input. Please take a few minutes and complete our survey. Participation is voluntary and all of the information will be handled confidentially. Dynegy Point Estero & Estero Bay Wave Parks Public Comment Period
Dynegy has applied to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for preliminary permits for two wave-generation wave park locations in Estero Bay. The public "quick comment" link for submitting comments to FERC for the proposals can be found at https://ferconline.ferc.gov/QuickComment.aspx. The project docket numbers are P-14584 (Point Estero) and P-14585 (Estero Bay). Marine Vessel Engine Replacement
There is a grant program with limited funding available through the Air Pollution Control District for replacement of marine engines. Deadline for expression of interest is October 4. This is restricted to vessels in Morro Bay or Port San Luis.
