Community Policing
The Morro Bay Police Department believes that the key to a safe community is a strong working relationship between the public and law enforcement - hence the term community policing. That relationship is based on shared responsibility for the welfare of the community.
The test of police efficiency is the absence of crime and disorder, and no doubt our crime prevention efforts this past year contributed to the reduction in crime in Morro Bay.
