About Investigations Bureau
The Investigations Bureau provides professional investigative services designed to increase public safety and solve crime using a problem solving approach including prevention, intervention and suppression strategies. 2 police detectives are assigned to the Investigations Bureau. The bureau is presently supervised by the Day-Shift Watch Commander.

Responsibilities
The Bureau is charged with the general responsibility of:

• Investigation follow-up and criminal case preparation related to prosecution of persons suspected of crimes
• Collection and facilitation of forensic evidence processing
• Identification and arrest of persons and fugitives suspected of committing crimes
• Criminal intelligence maintenance
